7 · Batteries and Parts

Mopeds are tracked one by one (by VIN). Batteries and parts are counted — “12 battery cartons at Rockdale” — by location.

The Batteries & parts page

Each item shows its SKU, how many are at each location, and its reorder level. Items at or below their reorder level appear under Low parts on the dashboard.

Button	Use it for
+ New item	Add a battery or part to the catalogue (name, SKU, reorder level)
Stock	Count or adjust how many are at each location — e.g. after a stocktake
Edit	Change the name, SKU or reorder level
History	Every change to that item’s count and who made it

How they move

• Into stock — add them to a shipment (Batteries & parts in this container); they land when the container is marked arrived. Or use Stock to add them by hand.
• Between places — add a line under Batteries & parts on a pick. Batteries here feed the “Battery Cartons” line in the 3PL email.
• To a customer/dealer — add a + Battery / part line on the order. They leave stock when the order is delivered.

Note: each moped’s own battery count (1 or 2) is part of the moped, not this list. This list is for spare/extra batteries and parts.
