Dashboard

The first page you see. Every number is clickable and opens the Stock or Orders page already filtered.

Below that:

  • Model × colour — how many of each colour are Available, On water, Reserved, at dealers on Consignment, and Not for sale (demo, rental or in service). Click a row to see those bikes.
  • Rego due — registered demo/rental bikes whose rego runs out within 30 days (overdue in red).
  • By location, Picks in progress, On the water (with ETA), Low parts, and Recent activity.
  • Stock at cost — what our unsold stock cost us. Bikes with no cost entered are counted separately.

The three buttons at the top — + Shipment intake, + New pick, + New order — are shortcuts to the most common jobs.

Stock page

Every moped, one per row.

Finding a bike: type into the search box — the last 5 of the VIN is usually fastest. It also matches engine number, owner name and number plate.

The “Show” list narrows what you see:

Show Lists
All in stock Everything we still own, wherever it is
Rockdale / Lilyfield (and other places) What’s physically there
Transit On the truck or on the water
Events At an event location
Demo / Rental / Consignment Bikes in that use
Sold (dealers & customers) Anything delivered to a dealer or customer
Everything All of the above

You can also filter by model and colour. Export CSV downloads the current list for a spreadsheet.

In the VIN column the last 5 characters are bold — that’s what people read out over the phone.

Customer / dealer column — who a bike belongs to or is going to: the dealer or customer on its order, the dealer it’s sitting at on consignment, or the owner once it’s sold. Blank means it’s free stock.

Row and level — under the location you’ll see e.g. Row 2 · Level 3 if the bike’s position in the warehouse has been set (see below).

Doing something to several bikes at once

Tick the box at the start of each row (or the top box for all). A bar appears at the bottom:

  • Create pick / transfer — the normal way to move bikes. All ticked bikes must be at the same place. See 5 · Picks and Transfers.
  • Quick move — only for a move that’s already happened on site without a trip, e.g. you wheeled a bike from the store room into the showroom. Anything that goes on a truck or to a dealer/customer must be a pick.
  • Change status — set Available, Demo, Rental, Consignment, Service or Written off, with an optional purpose and note. Reserved and Sold can’t be set here — orders control those.
  • Set row / level — record where the ticked bikes sit in the warehouse (see below).

Row and level — where a bike sits in the warehouse

So the 3PL can find the right bike without unstacking everything:

  • Row — 1 is the front row, nearest the door. Higher numbers are further back.
  • Level — 1 is the floor, 2 is on top of that, 3 is the top of a 3-high stack.

Set it by ticking bikes → Set row / level, or one bike at a time from its page (Edit details). Leave a box blank to clear it.

The app uses this to suggest bikes front row first, top level down — so the bikes that are easiest to reach go out first. The row and level are printed on the pick email to Tom next to each VIN. When a bike moves to another place, its row and level are cleared automatically — set them again where it lands.

Adding a single moped

+ Add unit on the Stock page, for one-off bikes that didn’t come in on a shipment. Fill in VIN, engine number, model, colour, number of batteries, status and location. For a whole container or a list of bikes, use Import (Shipment intake) instead — see 4 · Shipments and Intake.
