Common Customer Questions
Updated 8 September 2026
Most enquiries come down to the same handful of questions. Answer in your own words, but keep the facts to these — consistency is the point.
“How far does it go?”
Up to 130 km with the optional dual battery (Cruise; Freedom does 120 km) — about a week of typical commuting on one charge. Single battery: 65 km Cruise, 60 km Freedom.
“What does it cost to run?”
Zero fuel. Charge from any standard wall outlet for cents a day, and electric means minimal servicing — no oil, no filters, no spark plugs.
“How much is one?”
| Standard | GT (Carbon) | |
|---|---|---|
| Cruise | $4,350 | $4,550 |
| Freedom | $4,950 | $5,250 |
GT is a carbon-finish styling package — same speed, range and licensing.
“Do I need a licence?”
Depends on the model and state:
- Cruise (50 km/h): car licence in QLD, WA, NT and SA; motorbike licence everywhere else.
- Freedom (80 km/h): motorbike licence in every state.
Never say “no licence needed” — NSW requires a motorbike licence for both models. If licensing is holding someone up, offer a quick chat — it’s simpler than most people expect.
“Can I see one / try one?”
Yes — book a test ride through the website. They pick a location, day and morning/afternoon, and we (or the dealer) call within 1 business day to lock in a time. Point them to their closest location (see Dealer Directory).
“What colours does it come in?”
Red, Orange, Green, Blue, White, Black — both models.
“What about the battery wearing out?”
The battery is rated for 2,000–3,000 full cycles and 8+ years of design life, and it’s covered by warranty if capacity drops below 70% in the first 3 years. It’s removable, so they can charge it at their desk or kitchen bench.
“What if I’m not near a store?”
We ship direct anywhere in Australia. WA, TAS, ACT and NT are direct-shipping only; other states have dealers (see Dealer Directory).
Golden rules
- If the lead has left a mobile number, call, don’t email — it converts far better.
- Once you’ve made contact, stop the automated email sequence (see Handling a New Lead).
- Don’t guess beyond these answers — take the question away and come back same-day.
