One battery is standard, a second is optional (doubles the range). The battery is removable — charge it in the moped or take it inside to any standard wall outlet. Charging comes with dual cords, so both batteries can charge at the same time.

Talking point: at 2,000+ cycles and 8+ years of design life, a daily commuter effectively never wears the battery out inside the warranty window — and if capacity ever drops below 70% in the first 3 years, it’s covered (see Warranty Terms).

Care — do

• Charge only with the official ROLL’N charger.
• Charge somewhere dry and ventilated — the battery is IP67, but the charger and wall connection aren’t waterproof.
• If a battery won’t be used for weeks, store it at roughly half charge, somewhere with moderate temperature.
• Ride in the rain with confidence — the battery itself is sealed to IP67.

Care — don’t

• Don’t use third-party or aftermarket chargers — it risks the pack and voids claims.
• Don’t leave a battery at 0% for long periods, or on the charger for days after it’s full.
• Don’t leave batteries baking in direct sun or a hot car, and avoid charging in freezing conditions — the −20°C to 55°C rating is for operating, and charging is gentler work.
• Don’t open, modify or attempt to repair a pack — unauthorised disassembly ends the warranty conversation immediately.
• Don’t pressure-wash the battery bay or connectors.

Why this matters for warranty

Damage from improper use, neglect or modification is excluded from coverage — most rejected battery claims trace back to aftermarket chargers, deep-discharge storage or disassembly. The habits above keep a customer’s claim clean.
